Able to bring a crowd to their feet with her powerful preaching and performances, evangelist and singer Jekalyn Carr was only 15 when she first broke into the Billboard 200 album chart.
The West Memphis-based gospel artist made her debut in 2010 with the EP God Has a Promise Over Your Life. In 2012 she had a hit with the single "Greater Is Coming," which became the title track of her debut full-length in 2013. The album climbed into the Billboard 200 album chart and debuted at number three on Billboard's Top Gospel Albums chart. Her 2014 sophomore outing, It's Gonna Happen, peaked at the number nine slot on the Gospel Albums chart. In early 2016, Carr issued "You're Bigger," the lead single from her forthcoming third LP, The Life Project, which dropped later that August. Her fourth long-player, One Nation Under God, followed in 2018. ~ David Jeffries, Rovi
