Vienna based singer/songwriter Clara Luzia founded her own record label Asinella Records in 2006. She won an Amadeus Music Award in 2008 (Austria’s Mercury Prize) with her 2nd album "The Long Memory" and was nominated several times in the following years.
Clara Luzia got invited to big showcase festivals like Eurosonic Noorderslaag as well as intimate radio live sessions (FM4/AT, BBC6/UK, FluxFM/GER). Her music is featured in award-winning movies like „The Dark Valley“ (Andreas Prochaska, 2014) and „Seventeen“ (Monja Art, 2017). Luzia is also writing music for theatre plays and movies . During the infamous Covid-19-Lockdown she provided the soundtrack for the austrian webseries "Die Maßnahme" and digitally released the closing credits theme song "Blablabla" in June 2020. With her latest single "This World" (July 3, 2020) Clara Luzia announced the release of an EP scheduled for November 20 2020. Since July 2020 she is also releasing German language songs under the moniker Wald.
