Mitchell Quilleon Brown, known by his stage name Kid Quill, is an American hip hop recording artist from Shelbyville, Indiana.
The name Kid Quill originates from his middle name Quilleon with the addition of Kid, an acronym for "keep it dope." While in high school, Brown played soccer and received All State and All American recognition. He continued his academic and soccer career at DePauw University. Growing up, Brown would rap battle friends in his basement. One of his friends decided to record him rapping and uploaded it to YouTube where it received a notable amount of social media attention. Realizing that there was potential, he decided to pursue music. Brown has released 3 studio albums, stemming from 2014-2017. His newest, 94.3 The Reel, is a story of his experiences in the music industry.
