From 2005 to 2009, Zach trained weekly with world-class concert pianist and conductor Dr. Michael Zearott at his Nova Music Studio in Clarkston, Washington. In 2009, Zach shifted to study jazz theory under the direction of Thomas Schumacher. His biggest influences at that time were ambient artists Aes Dana and Asura, founders of the French electronica label, Ultimae Records. Daft Punk’s work on Tron: Legacy blew him away in 2010 as well.
In 2012, local producer David Tucker became Zach’s mentor for a period of time which really inspired Zach towards technical prowess and excellence in production.
In 2014, Zach moved to Moscow to pursue a degree in computer engineering at the University of Idaho, which eventually led to deep understanding of digital audio as an added bonus. Today Zach blends his classical past with his high tech future to deliver tracks on the cutting edge of the epic and soundtrack genres.
