Emerging from the edge of North London, from Waltham Cross, Enfield, Ferno began his career as a musician at a young age.
Born Olasubomi Taiwo in 1993, he first formed a rap group when he was 16 with some friends, and in their dorm studio, recorded and sold hard copies of their mixtape to the school’s students.
Leaving that school he formed 2 further rap groups with friends over the next two years, recording two mixtapes as an artist and engineer and releasing them on music sharing websites like DatPiff etc.
Over this period Ferno’s cultivated a style of rap that was wild and energetic, his inspirations drawn from the likes of Lil Wayne , Eminem & 50 Cent , rapping of his aspirations, dreams, women and drugs. Upon joining his third group ‘Inferno’ became ‘Ferno’.
Leaving the 6 man rap group ‘Extra Pills’, Ferno went solo in 2013 released, “The Slate Tape”.
The Following year he met singer/rapper NIGHTLIFE & producer/engineer Farout and formed SPRME Entertainment, signing himself and them both to the label.
Establishing the label in 2015, the quality of his craft improved and his style warped. With a switch in tones, melodies and a more experienced approach to his sound, he released music videos and singles on YouTube including Tracks like Good Week boasting over 170,000 plays on soundcloud, “Crash Course” & “Brilliant”.
Ferno ended 2018 on an interstellar high releasing “MoonRock”, his first solo EP, currently stacking over 50,000 plays on soundcloud after 2 weeks.
