The combination of epic melodies with advances sonic textures gives rise to a broad-spectrum of haunting atmospheres.
In December 2014, The Thing You Breed was released. The EP is principally inspired by post-rock and industrial sound with a precise work on each arrangement of the 6 tracks.
In late spring 2015, over the period of a month, the album
Instar was composed in Montreal on an old German upright piano. The 9 tracks were then arranged with synthesisers and mixed during the following 4 months. The album is out for Piano Day 2016 (a
Nils Frahm’s initiative) as a tribute to the instrument that inspired the tracks.
Instar get recognition soon after by BBC Radio 6 and the featured track “Initiate” is used for GUCCI’s new collection event.
While working on the forthcoming album,
AEONN continues to celebrate Piano Day each year with a new dedicated track (“An Immense Quiet Whole” in 2015 and “From Nowhere To Now” in 2017)
