With their debut EP 'The Divide' (Small Town Records) in September 2014, came a flurry of high profile tours and appearances with Architects, Thy Art is Murder, I Killed the Prom Queen, Veil of Maya, Oceans Ate Alaska and Bury Tomorrow to name a few. Features swiftly followed in Kerrang! Fresh Blood, Rocksound and Metal Hammer as word of the band's live reputation spread across the scene. EU/UK festival slots followed in 2015 including Summerblast, Throwfest, Butserfest & Camden Rocks, further strengthening their status as one of the forerunners in the UK hardcore scene.
Their debut album ‘Peaceless', released in April 2016 (Crooked Noise Records) reached #9 on UK iTunes Metal Charts, before personal commitments and the pursuit of other musical opportunities led to a seeming permanent hiatus.
But that's all in the past. Fast forward to 2019 and Lock & Key are back with a vengeance and ready to stir things up with the release of the first new material in over 2 years - 'Changes'.
More music and more shows to follow...the peace is over.
