Growing up in Nashville, pop artist-songwriter Kat Saul learned to play guitar and piano at age five and started writing her own songs at age 13.
By the time she was in high school, she was participating in professional writing sessions and is now one of the most buzzed about young pop writer/performers in Music City.
Now in 2018 Kat debuts her unique brand of unapologetic pop music with the release of “Jericho," “Unit 408,” & "Nick Miller." She presents an unmistakable sound that hits a little left from center & blends Nashville flavored lyrical sensibility with alt pop melodies & production reminiscent of artists like Gwen Stefani, Sia, Lorde, & the like.
“Jericho,” received attention from Nashville Native Magazine calling it “a definite max out the volume sing along,” while PopDust hailed it “a hot track that embodies exactly the kind of buzz she is making in the songwriting community.”
“Unit 408" was named Nashville radio station Lighting 100’s DJ pick of the week & garnering praise from fans & press alike. FEMME RIOT writes, "One listen to “Unit 408” and you’ll be humming the song to yourself the rest of the day and be hooked on Kat’s musical style begging for more."
Kat's current single "Nick Miller," her most experimental offering to date, landed on New Music Friday in 7 countries including the US. Based in its quirky 'New Girl' reference - it's an undeniable first-listen ear-worm.
Kat will release her debut EP in Spring of 2019.
