Growing up in Nashville, alt/pop act Kat Saul learned to play guitar and piano at age five and started writing her own songs at age 13.
By the time she was in high school, she was participating in professional writing sessions and is now one of the most buzzed about young pop writer/performers in Music City.
In 2018 Kat debuted her unique brand of unapologetic pop music with a series of singles as she headed towards her EP “...from Unit 408” released on March 06, 2019 featuring singles “Happy Ever After” and “Bite.”
Named for Kat’s apartment unit number, the title reflects the intimate nature of the EP. “These songs are all about situations that kept me up at night pacing around my apartment,” says Kat. “The physical location of Unit 408 is the genesis for this entire project. I want people to feel at home with it.”
Kat has been featured on Spotify’s New Music Friday in 11 countries, was named the Amazon Music Weekly One artist of the week, Lightning 100’s DJ Pick of the Week, and has received press attention from the likes of iHeart, Pop Dust, Vanyaland, ISSABOP, Celeb Mix, & Pop Justice.
Kat's latest release “Bite 2.0" with Prince Fox (who’s previous collaborations include Hailee Steinfeld, Quinn XCII, Bella Thorne, & Rich The Kid) is available everywhere now.
