Rather than sugarcoat anything, Alexis Wilkins speaks and sings straight truth. The 22-year-old Arkansas-bred and Nashville-based singer, songwriter, and artist doesn’t hesitate or hold back as she clings to classic country tradition while adding a little attitude and a whole lot of heart.
She penned her first song at six-years-old to raise money for charity and never stopped. While finishing high school and earning a degree in Business and Political Science at Belmont University, she spent countless hours writing songs and committing her story to tape. Releasing her debut projects in this past year initially to help raise money for Musicians On Call, she earned looks from American Songwriter and Today In Nashville, was even tapped by CMT with the honor of being artist of the month, in addition to organically building a growing following online and maintaining a commitment to philanthropy by supporting organizations such as Musicians On Call, Warrior Rounds and The VA. With more music and performances planned for 2021, Alexis continues let the truth and that heart shine.
