Rising from poverty in a single-parent household of 4, Armanix discovered poetry at the young age of 9.
Her mother noticed the potential and sent her to seven years of classic piano training. At the age of 14, Allison's mother noticed she was interested in music and saved up enough money to purchase a simple home studio for her to continue sharpening her songwriting. Armanix would later move to Manhattan the day of her eighteenth birthday to pursue a major label recording contract. There, she struggled and after numerous unsuccessful auditions, Armanix returned to her home town to honor her mother's request to go to law school. After completing her Political Science degree she dropped out of college where she would wait tables and bartend for 3 years, playing local venues and national showcases, at which time she received negative marks on her stage presence . Feeling unfulfilled with bartending and the prospect of going to Law School, she began working privately with top choreographers - adding the element of dance to her live performance. After sending her demo to an A&R from Universal Music, she was connected with several producers to find her sound, blending Hip-Hop style verses with pop instrumentation - Her sound is described as "If Cardi B could sing met Alanis Morisette". In 2019 Armanix reached the number one position on ReverbNation charts in the United States, with her song streams reaching over 600,000 streams and over one-million Instagram followers.
