edmond redd is a music composer writing for trailer, film, TV and TV commercials.
At an early age, he begins studying piano and classical music. After graduating, edmond joins several bands, before finding a good fit as a keyboard player with The Arcane*, a melodic metal band.
The Arcane* would release two albums. They would also play many concerts, and open for higher-profile acts such as Finnish metal band Apocaliptyca, and Italian gothic metal band Macbeth.
In 2010, edmond starts working on a full length debut solo album. All the writing, composing, recording and mixing is done from his own home studio. The result, Nightmare Delirium, is then published online in 2012.
In 2013, edmond scores two short films. One of those films screens at the Dubai International Film Festival, the Cannes Film Festival and 6 other international film festivals.
In 2015, edmond begins writing cinematic trailer music. He combines the descriptive music of film scores with the soaring grandeur of the classics and a hint of the modern rock influences. With a mixture of a classical education and an ongoing autodidactic studies and experiments, edmond always aims to capture the essence of emotions in his cues. His music can be heard on several TV shows on channels such as MTV, BBC, History Channel among others.
In 2020, and to celebrate Piano Day, edmond releases his first single #eighty-eight.
