Two longtime friends, Simon Perrotte and Guillaume Fecteau share a love of modern electronic music and romantic old school jams à la Phil Collins.
Together, they form HWYS, an electro pop duo hooked on analog synths and catchy melodies. Beaches, their first EP, produced by Steeven Chouinard from Le Couleur, arrives just in time for the summer. Featuring nostalgic, crystal-clear hymns, the album is an ode to women, midnight adventures and colorful loves. One question remains though, what’s the meaningful story behind their name’s acronym.
