"It's safer to live in the dark, underground, far from the light of the sun, where the creatures of day can see and harm you" ----M.D
Michael D'Orazio had Goth roots dating back to the early 90's in the band "The Burning". He was lead singer and co-writer of the group. After that he attended the University of the Arts, recieving a B. F. A. In Fine Arts/Illustration... Soon after he sat in Coffee shops drawing 8 hours a day creating a huge body of artwork, and comics, whilst writing poetry on the side... He played open mics for a 25 year period, and a few shows circa 2009-10 before calling it quits, due to a lack of interest and criticism.... Now he just records at home. From 2015 to 2018 was his most creative period. His early years was solo acoustic, and the bulk of his acoustic work was written between 1995-2014, and is published on his "Miscellaneous Shit" album, and others, but in 2015 he started multitrack, creating a diverse collection of albums ranging in different concepts and styles. These last few years were a creative triumph catapulting him way beyond his peers. Michael lives a quiet life now in the privacy of his home, smoking his cigarettes reverently, while working a normal day job making sandwiches for people on their lunch breaks..
