In 2013 I consciously began to compose and record my 'own' music. The first album, napago - 777, was released in 2015. This was followed up in 2017 with Symbioh: Music for Dance. Also in 2017, Blues in Brown (featuring a version of Willie Nelson's 'Hello Walls') was released. The single Signs of Summer was released in 2018, followed by 2019's Nancy's Hands. A re-working of former music led to the release of Fishers of Men. And spring of 2020 saw the release of Live Improvisations, Meditation, and φ. In the summer of 2020, I completed the music for my father's stage adaptation of Oscar Wilde's The Star-Child. In addition to composing the next major piece, I've also begun releasing Miniatures every full moon in 2021.
I am fascinated with the physics of sound. A lot of the music I am composing now reflects this by using the Harmonic Series as a base for writing. By playing with this foundation provided by nature, I am hoping to build a sonic architecture that not only reflects the beauty of our natural world but serves us by helping us heal and grow.
