Foja is an Italian rock band formed in Naples in 2006. In January 2011 they released their first album 'Na Storia Nova, disclosed by their first single 'o sciore e 'o viento and its animated videoclip that has now hit more tan 2.200.000 YouTube views. Dimane torna 'o sole, their second LP dropped in November 2013. On June 27th 2016, Foja have been the first rock band ever to perform in an electrical set in the oldest and most prestigious opera house in the World: the Teatro di San Carlo in Naples. Their show, named after their song Cagnasse tutto and directed by Franco Dragone (Cirque du Soleil), was sold out. Their third studio album 'O treno che va came out on December 9th 2016. On September 14th, the movie "Gatta Cenerentola" was released, featuring Foja’s song A chi appartieni (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack from "Gatta Cenerentola"), that was listed between the five songs nominee for David di Donatello Award for Best Original Song. On June 24th 2017, Foja started a new artistic experiment. "'O treno che va Illustazioni" is a crossmedia live show: while Foja perform their concert, some of the most appreciated italian illustrators draw their works inspired by Foja's songs. Their live drawing are shown on the stage back screen.
