In 2006 Raining Jane opened a show for Jason Mraz, marking the beginning of a new chapter of collaboration. The five had an instant musical chemistry that led to a steadily growing catalog of co-written songs, starting with “A Beautiful Mess.” In 2014 Mraz released "Yes!," featuring 11 of their co-writes, including the single “Love Someone.” Raining Jane joined Mraz in the studio for "Yes!," as well as on the world tour. In 2018, they became a part of Mraz’s 10-piece Superband, on tour for "Know," featuring the single “Have It All,” also co-written with Raining Jane.
When the band is not making music themselves they love to do what they can to facilitate creative expression for others. Raining Jane are co-founders and organizers of “Rock n’ Roll Camp for Girls Los Angeles,” a non-profit dedicated to empowering girls through music.
