Inside Electron is a four-piece rock group based in The Hague, The Netherlands. The band was founded in 2016 as Crescent, but in early 2018 the band name was changed to Inside Electron to take the next step.
This young Dutch band is heavily inspired by other bands like U2, Editors and Nothing But Thieves. The band is driven by their hunger to innovate upon those fundamentals.
Guitar player Miro van Dijk once built his own guitar with led-lights in the entirety of the guitar's body, while lead vocalist and frontman Bas Boudewijn shines with his enthusiastic stage presence and beautiful vocals. Tim van Leeuwen might be the fastest learning bass player out there, since he had not ever touched a bass guitar before he joined Inside Electron in 2016. Nowadays he rocks the stage like he owns it. Julius Stouthart, Inside Electron's drummer, takes his drumming inspiration from a few of the greatest drummers in the world like John Bonham (Led Zeppelin), Larry Mullen Jr. (U2) and Dave Grohl (Nirvana/Foo Fighters).
In their early careers Inside Electron already played as support for The Hague heroes De Kraaien on one of their shows in their hometown.
