A diverse band from all parts of Canada. Donny Childs (acoustic guitar, vocals), William Mowat (rhythm guitar, backing vocals), Kerry Hirsh (lead guitar), Alexis Dumont (bass guitar) and Jarrett Plett (Drums) form Noxinixon, weaving folk-harmonies with catchy rock riffs.
Forming the band in a dusty apartment in Toronto in 2011, they have never looked back after creating their first EP called Kayak, mixed and mastered by Nicolas Michel in Montreal, Quebec. Recieving success in both Canada and the United States, songs from Kayak were featured in "Mother of All Lies", starring Francesca Eastwood.
Keeping with the indie rock drive and mentality, they recorded the self-titled "Noxinixon" (Prenounced: No "X" in Nixon) in Vancouver, British Columbia, 2015. A truly wonderful, vibrant album, Noxinixon captures a chill and relaxed vibe that plucks the heartstrings of its listeners.
After touring the Noxinixon album, the band continued its pursuit of pleasing its listeners with soulful diversity.
In 2017, the band released "Never Odd or Even", following with the paladrome-theme, the band added a few Canadian-inspired country songs, "Under the Stars", "Morning Comes" and "Beach Combin". Recording the album in Switzerland, Noxinixon continues their strong bonds of friendship and love of producing music.
Currently in production, with a release date of May 2019, the bands next album, "Revolt Lover", promises to deliver rock and roll at its finest.
