NEW LANGUAGE has made quite the name for themselves since launching from Los Angeles in 2016. Their powerful sound has been described as ‘high-octane rock’ meets ‘post-hardcore fury’ and has launched them to be featured in outlets such as Spotify's ‘New Noise,' 'Totally Alt' and 'Rock Hard' playlists, Australia’s acclaimed TripleJ radio, SiriusXM’s Octane, Loudwire, AltPress 'Bands You Ought To Know' and on LA’s own 95.5 KLOS.
When live on-air during KLOS’ Stay or Go segment it was said “This is the first band, at least in the last year… this is THE best band on Should I Stay or Should I Go.”
NEW LANGUAGE made their debut performance in 2016 to a sold out Los Angeles crowd opening for Gone Is Gone (Queens of the Stone Age, At The Drive In, Mastodon), only to immediately direct support The Used on their ‘In Love & Death / Self Titled’ Anniversary Tour. The band wrapped 2017 with a residency at Los Angeles’ The Satellite and a KROQ Locals Only showcase in Hollywood. Alternative Press published, “Lead vocalist Tyler Demorest brings it way loud, reminiscent of early Thrice, while the weight of the bass and drums in the score shoots a nod to Queens of the Stone Age.”
NEW LANGUAGE heads into 2018 with a New Noise Magazine video premiere and two new singles in the coming months. Stay tuned.
