Arising from the East Midlands, Boats On The Ocean are a newborn indie Pop band formed in the early months of 2018.
Gathering a variety of musical concepts they create tasteful melodies, blissful harmonies and rhythms forged to make audiences move.
During their busy 2018 summer their high energy and eruptive performances featured at multiple festivals including; the main stage of YNOT festival alongside Razorlight & Her's. Following the release of their single I Like It they sold out their local headline show in Derbyshire. While supporting other touring bands such as The Pale White and BlackWaters. The quartet has received radio play from BBC introducing across the East Midlands multiple times as well as an interview with BBC introducing's Dean Jackson, after the release of their single Why Can't You Remember? Radio play with the BBC continued with live sessions and interviews with Martyn Williams on his "The Top Floor" show.
Since the release of their single "Run" the quartet decided to move to Birmingham to further the bands progression in UK music. Following the change of scenery "Matter of Time" was played on both BBC Introducing East Midlands and West Midlands. After just 2 months their first headline show in Birmingham is at the Iconic Sunflower Lounge - 22/11/2019.
