Born in the Dominican Republic but raised in the Bronx, rapper Raimer "Ray Bop" Mendoza exploded on the scene in 2012 thanks to his dropping of some 35 releases, all at once.
Influenced by the likes of Nas and Jay-Z, the rapper signed with MVB Entertainment in 2011. A year later, MVB released ten Ray Bop mixtapes, along with 25 singles. He was off the label in 2013 and formed his own Cash Hungry Records imprint, which released his Life's a Hoe album that same year. ~ David Jeffries, Rovi
