Silverware is lead by Ainsley Wagoner, started in Lexington, Kentucky while a student at University of Kentucky.
Wagoner recorded her first, self-titled EP Silverware in the fall of 2009 with Robert Beatty (Hair Police, Three Legged Race) in Resonant Hole Studios in Lexington. It was released in the winter of 2010 on EMA Communications label.
After moving to San Francisco, she recorded the "Move Here" and "Not Yet" EPs on a 4-track and self-released them in 2018, followed by the "Deep Water" EP in 2019. Wagoner recorded the "Finish Line" / "Need Me Too" singles at Tiny Telephone SF and released them in the fall of 2019.
Silverware's sound is founded in an Appalachian sparseness with layers of electric guitars, vintage synths, and ethereal vocals that leave you feeling rearranged and washed clean.
