Their 2017 debut album ‘Bright Star’ was greeting with plaudits from fans and media. The album inspiration came from Scott & Maria's move from London to Brighton in late 2015. A smorgasbord of music influences from David Bowie to The Beatles, from Nina Simone to Newton Faulkner and Nahko Bear & The Medicine People. It is an eclectic, fun mix of acoustic songs leaning towards alternative folk. Love, and the depth of feeling, is a recurring theme throughout the album.
A flurry of writing and recording promises to see the band follow this EP with another new album and the bands burgeoning live reputation gained over the past few years in the south of England and seen promoters take notice. The duo have taken to the stage at the likes of The Isle of Wight Rhythm Tree Festival, Sark Summer Festival, NeverWorld Festival (Kent), RawFest (Berkshire), Scallywags Party (Bath), SmallWorld Festival (Kent), Lambstock Festival (London), Brighton Vegan Festival, and the Permaculture Stage & Banjo Stage in the Green Fields of Glastonbury Festival.
