Upon enlisting in the United States Armed Forces, Jazz Vocalist Vincent Eury was lead vocalist for the prestigious Navy Band of Newport Rhode Island from 1993 to 1999.
These performances allowed Vince to travel throughout the country, as well as Canada, Austria, and Iceland. His signature rich baritone lead vocals garnered him the moniker of The Navy Crooner.
However, Vincent remains loyal to his first love-jazz. He notes being primarily influenced by the critically acclaimed Johnny Hartman. To uphold the torch and honor the legacy of the legendary jazz vocalists who have been lifelong inspirations, Vincent aspires to form an all-star jazz quartet that will perform at landmark Metropolitan Washington venues.
Vincent’s 1st jazz single release “In The Wee Small Hours of The Morning” is now available for purchase on iTunes, Google Play, Amazon Music, Spotify, and Shazam. In addition, Vince shares fond memories of recordings with the Navy Jazz Band with renditions of Ballerina and Every Day I Have the Blues, located on his fast growing YouTube Channel.
To broaden his listening audience, Vincent has teamed up with Emubands, Shift Radio, and Reverb Nation. Because of this relationship, Vincent is reaching music lovers in the UK, China, Japan and Germany.
Vincent is originally from North Carolina, the state in which he had his first voice training and his first vocal performances. He now calls the Washington DC area his home away from home.
