In her late teens, she auditioned for producer Chad "Dr. Seuss" Elliott, who was putting together a girl group trio at the time. Although the group was short lived, Reefy remained persistent with her mission. In 2001, she joined forces with rapper and producer Jaz-O, landing her a spot on the single " Let's Go", which featured music mogul Jay Z.
Battling her ups and downs in the industry with a few independent record deals gone bad, the ambitious and determined songstress would remain persistent to become the singer she had always dreamed of no matter how long the journey. In recent years, she has been seen touring the states and abroad with Charisse Rose of the 90's R&B duo Changing Faces, temporarily replacing the other original band member.
