After spending time in LA writing with artists such as Elliphant and Diplo’s producer collective, Vera released her debut single ‘Bottoms Up’. It was premiered by The Line of Best Fit and one of Sweden’s most respected music journalists Jan Gradvall described her as - “an artist who is overflowing with talent and attitude.”
Following ‘Bottoms Up’ she has since released two mixtapes - ’let me show u what love is’, a heartfelt mixtape about her absent father, and ”happy/bad”. The first single ’Hey Boy’ of Veras latest EP ’Red Pill’ was premiered by Paper Magazine, where they compared her vocal style to Kesha and Gwen Stefani.
With endless confidence and an unbreakable attitude, both in her personality and her music, Vera was chosen to represent Sweden at the showcase gig by Ja Ja Ja in London.
Vera most recently released her single ‘One Time’ which is the first single from her upcoming EP ’Blue Pill’. The single was again picked up by Paper Magazine and she performed the song live at the 2019 years ‘Rockbjörnen Awards’.
With an indestructible self-esteem as well as strong personality that shines through the music she makes, this rising star is only waiting to explode.
