Dan Bond is a singer/songwriter influenced by pop and country music. He first came to prominence in 2011 as lead singer in duo, Music & Spies.
In 2013, he released his first EP of original music under Music & Spies, titled ‘In My Hands’ which soared to the top 20’s in the iTunes singer/songwriter chart. The title track, ‘In My Hands,’ won an award for best original song in the national music competition OpenMicUK, while ‘Good Things Happen In The Rain’ came highly praised by BBC6 music presenter, Tom Robinson.
Since then, Dan’s music has not gone unnoticed, with 3 nominations and a win for best duo from Cambridge 105 radio’s NMG Awards, an event that people including Bob Harris and Sheila Ravenscroft (John Peel’s wife) have supported.
Dan has toured extensively around the UK, sharing the stage with artists including Lucy Spraggan, whom he supported at sold-out venues such as Liverpool O2 Academy, Leicester O2 Academy and Brighton Coalition on her post X-Factor tour.

In 2019, Dan released If It's Alright. A song co-written and recorded with brother, Ollie Bond. Following the release, Dan won his second NMG Award for Best Male Solo Artist, and was also featured as Richer Unsigned's Artist of the week.
Dan released his highly anticipated single Count the Stars in November 2020. Inspired by a road trip in Norway, the song written for stargazing with a loved one. Campfire, cold beer, good company, and a beautiful backdrop. That's the story so far. Want to join the party?
