Ron Baker was born and raised in Springfield, Massachusetts where he very early on discovered his need to be on stage.
In whatever capacity or art form that presented its self would be the path he took. Dance and teaching choreography became the center of his life at age 12, Ron developed a skill for quickly picking up choreography and then being able to teach it to his peers. This sent him on a journey of teaching and working as a dancer and choreographer and various settings and institutions. In between time of dancing he worked briefly on a few commercial spotlights and movie background work. While music had always been a burning passion of his it wasn’t until 2016 where he made his few musical debut. Releasing his first song titled Road Rage, a mid tempo Rap record which was quickly followed by reggae/soca/r&b groove called Sunday that was reminiscent of Craig David’s 2000’s hit “7 days”. Since then Baker has released an 8 song EP titled “The Session : Joints” which is blend of 90’s R&B, Contemporary R&B, Hip Hop & Reggae. He also released two leading singles “Cool One” & “Hit My Line” for an upcoming follow up to The Session : Joints. This past February 2019 Ron embarked on a 4 month Local/Regional promotional tour for the song “Cool One” which covered several cities from Boston, Ma to New York City. He is currently preparing for is follow up “The Session: Silk Wraps & Slippers”.
