Massimiliano Coclite, graduated in piano and jazz at the Conservatories of Teramo and Bari with full marks and honors, studied with the Masters Claudio Menendez, Michele Marvulli, Pierluigi Camicia, Benedetto Lupo, Alexander Lonquich, in jazz music with Roberto Ottaviano and Ramberto Ciammarughi.
Since 2000 he has almost entirely performed his artistic activity in jazz, as a pianist, singer, composer and arranger. He has recorded many albums as a band leader and numerous participations. He is a member of the Trem Azul, a band with whom he recorded three albums. He played in Brazil, USA, China, Japan, Indonesia, Denmark, Germany, Poland, Hungary, Russia, Spain, Portugal, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, India in festivals and clubs. The JazzIt magazine since 2012 places it among the first Italian crooners. To his credit more than thirty records, next release in June 2020 with a piano solo, “Midnight sun” for Musicab.
He is a teacher of jazz singing at the Conservatory of Music “A. Casella” in l'Aquila.
