From the opening track ‘Love Is’ to the funk inspired rock of first single ‘Believe In The Music’, The Villains new album One More Time is a blistering ten song statement that rock is still alive and well.
The Villains have carved out their place with passion and deliver music that their fans deserve every time.
The Villains mantra has always been the same; “write great songs, make great records, and never forget who you’re making them for”. All five members (Magno, Jimmy James Schmitt, Dan Call, Sean McNally, and Richard Gibson) have recorded and performed with many artists as well as touring the world together.
Their 2010 debut album Just Another Saturday Night yielded two AAA Top 40 singles 'Let's Forget About It Tonight' and 'You Don't Have To Say’. 2012's Velocity was produced by Stan Lynch (Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers) and produced two Adult Contemporary (AC) Top 25 singles, '(My) Rainy Day Girl' and 'Don't Know A Thing'. They capped the year off with the Top 40 Holiday Chart single, 'Christmas Is Where You Are'. 2014’s A Little Something For The Pain produced two AC Top 25 hits, ‘The First’ and ‘It Rained Everyday’ and third single, ‘Save The World’, became the bands first Top 20 AC single! 2016 ended with a new Holiday Top 40 single, ‘Santa Claus Is Coming Tonight’. In 2017 'Believe In The Music' became their second AC Top 20 hit. New single 'Love Is' was released in 2018 and at radio now.
