Scattered across three states, each member devoted time to side and solo projects, but their collective work continued by way of countless voice memos, long distance recording sessions, and singing vocals in coat closets.
In 2018, the group has finished recording two singles that reflect a firm departure from their once neo-folk roots.
“Our single, Schuyler St, really came into itself through recording. Even though it was a frankenstein production” according to Nick Lerangis (guitar). “Across state lines, Dan Burke (drums) playing in an orchestra hall, Erica singing in my closet; but without the stress of a studio time clock, we could really dig in and do the songs justice.”
After enlisting the indie-expertise of John Agnello (mixing) and Steve Fallone (mastering) for their newest tracks, Evening Darling is now set on a path of soaring synth and glittering guitar riffs.
