Self-described jazzy “metronome po’it”, rapper and producer Reaux Marquez (Farmer Lando) grew up in the spectrum of inner-city Nashville, TN.
Influenced by Outkast, Kendrick Lamar and Big KRIT in 2014 he released a trippy, wordplay heavy “199X” under “Ro Marquez” with the help of a gathered pool of producers connected via Soundcloud which would be a sacred find these days since he snatched it from the internet before it even turned 1. 199X brought attention, ears, and opportunities to a 19 year old Reaux which put him on SXSW 2014 stages. 2015-2016 off the grid he would become a master to his sound alongside affiliate & Country Cousin Josephfiend (producer/director). He signed himself to his own label The Garden Recordings in 2017. Only releasing two tracks and two guest verses that year, behind walls he would be producing and recording his first album “Fif” (TBA) following the groovy, self-reflecting single “Grapevine”.
