8-Bit Symphony is Connecticut’s newest hip-hop and EDM production duo. Combining the creative efforts of multi-instrumentalist Isaac Young (multiple CT Music Award winner, New England Music Award recipient) and engineer Nate Faulkenberry, the pair has reshaped the preconceived notions of hip-hop and EDM.
Their infectious sound has drawn in a plethora of collaborators including some of the country’s top emerging artists including Klokwize (DJ Quik, Uncle Dave Forman), SuaveSki (Apathy), Scott Irribarra (DJ Who), and many others. Drawing from a wide range of influences, 8-bit Symphony’s ability to fuse sounds from retro video games, vintage synthesizers, and careful sample-work exhibits their innovate and fresh approach to an ever-evolving tradition. The duo’s debut self-titled album is the culmination of their creative ingenuity to forge a new wave of hip-hop and EDM and to change the game forever.
