XOV gained international recognition in 2015 following his collaboration with Lorde on the Hunger Games: Mockingjay Soundtrack. His debut album WILD has been streamed over 50 million times on Spotify alone, with hit singles "Boys Don't Cry" and "Lucifer" certifying Gold / Platinum in several countries in Europe. He's performed at festivals such as Reeperbahn Festival in Germany, By:Larm in Norway and Way Out West in Sweden. His breakout year ended with a spectacular performance at the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin on NYE 15/16 where he performed to an audience in the millions.
In 2016, XOV took a break from his music career to work with human rights, founding the grassroots organization I AM YOU [Humanitarian Aid] while volunteering in what the BBC calls the "worst refugee camp in the world".
In the fall of 2018, a clip of him performing a new song with a flash mob in the Stockholm subway went viral, announcing his return to music and the release of his first new single ATARAX.
On November 30th, 2018, the highly anticipated Nebula EP was released (Jan 4, 2019, in America) which was described as “his best work to date” by critics and fans .
