Mixing trashy riffs with punk, sleaze, lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of backing vocals and even more booze, that’s what the punks from Jacklust do best.
The band Jacklust was formed in Rotterdam, somewhere in late 2011 and consists of guitarist and Andrelon addict Tizzy Wyre, 23, El Barto Loco, 22, on the drums, bass player and baritone extraordinaire Morrison, 18, and our friendly giant Yellow, 24, on the main vocals.
Having played with the likes of Sister, Adam Bomb, Rusted, and many more, having been played on English and American radio a dozen times and were even featured on the compilation CD of the praised Devolution Magazine! They wreak havoc at the venues they play at and usually leave their fans wondering just one thing: “What the hell happened last night?”. Renowned for their fast lyrics, loud guitars, a 'fuck things up' attitude and their passionate love for ABBA, these guys are always in for a party, although they usually take it a bit too far.
After having dropped their EP, called Primitive Measures, they were ready to take the world by storm. A white lightning fuelled storm. They later decided that the world was still too intact for their taste, and they still weren’t mentioned in Playboy Magazine, so they decided to record a one/off single with a highly acclaimed video clip ‘Megaloathe’ in late 2014.
In 2015 they recorded their new singles ‘’Where You Gonna Go’’ and the party anthem ‘’That Jolly Ol’ Place’’. (They wanted to record 2 Vengaboys covers instead, but after death threats from parents and girlfriends alike they decided not to)
In 2016, they recorded and released a new videoclip and single ‘Prepare For War’, that is often proclaimed as ‘’the 2nd best videoclip Jacklust has done in 2016’’, which is weird because it’s the only one they did. Anyway, I’m drifting off here, let’s move on!
They’ve released their EP ‘’September’’ in Prepare For War…wait. Needless to say, they’re back with a vengeance. The golden era of Jacklust has begun!
Now gtfo of their info-page.
