In March 2017 Nick released his first solo album "What I Thought I Knew". The album received positive reviews from Grayowl Point and Ride The Tempo.
The title track garnered the honours of being the #5 song of the week for the second week of January 2017 on Ride The Tempo's charts. The album is said to resemble the sounds of Jeff Buckley, Ron Sexsmith, Radiohead, Deathcab for Cutie, and Patrick Watson among others.
Nick wasted no time in recording and releasing his sophomore record “Still I Remain” in June 2017. This album received positive reviews from 'Canadian Beats Media' and from 'Divide and Conquer Music'. Adam Dunbar of Canadian Beats Media surmised to say “The album sounds great, the production is outstanding, the musicians are all first order and on top of their craft. Nick’s vocal range is astonishing and he uses it to full advantage in the ten songs on Still I Remain [...]”
In 2020 Nick focused on short release projects. His single "I've Been Waiting" came out in January 2020. "I've Been Waiting" focuses on a softer and folk driven sound, with padded vocal choruses and a relaxed groove. This song was covered by the publication ‘Come Here Floyd’. They said: "[...] love and everything with it, takes time. And when attention is put to the test into something that is very loving, all of the angst seem to melt away.Your angst melts away, as this single plays."
"So It Goes", an A-side B-side project has just been released to close out 2020. Get to it!
