Singer/songwriter and active duty U.S. Marine Mike Corrado blends of Country, Rock and hints of Americana into what he simply calls it “American Music.” He garnered national radio and television airplay after releasing the title track “Stand” from his 2010 EP.
Featured on CMT and more, “Stand” pays tribute to those who serve, veterans and the families and communities who stand behind them. Service is something Mike knows a lot about. During a brief hiatus from active duty with the Marines, Mike set aside his rifle and HUMVEE for a guitar and a 15 passenger van and set out for four years of life on the road performing 200-250 shows a year. In the wake of the 9/11 attacks, Mike came back to active duty and left for a year-long deployment to Fallujah, Iraq. Upon return, he continued to write, record and perform and release multiple albums. His latest release “Attic Sessions” is a compilation of fan-voted songs from Mike’s extensive catalogue featuring new, stripped down, acoustic versions of his most popular songs. This album has the feel of a small, intimate listening room or performance in your living room. Check it out and add it to your favorite playlists.
