Throughout his acclaimed career, Marcos has been participating in concerts and albums with top artists likes Chico Buarque, Milton Nascimento, Hermeto Pascoal, Michel Legrand, Winton Marsalis, Al Jarreau, Roberto Menescal Stanley Jordan. In 2004, Nimrichter won the Latin Grammy for his participation in the album “Symphonic Jobim”.
Directed and worked as a host for three years (2009-2011) in the television show Estúdio 66, at the TV channel Canal Brasil, where he performed improvised music with João Bosco, Caetano Veloso and Ed Motta, among many others.
Marcos is the pianist of Banda Ouro Negro and Novo Quinteto, groups created to play the music of Moacir Santos and Radamés Gnattali, respectively. Also, he has been invited to play as a soloist with the best orchestras in Brazil. With Orquestra Sinfonia Brasil he recorded the rare “Concerto para Acordeon e Orquestra de Cordas”, by Radamés Gnattali.
From 2013 to nowadays, he put your energy on the jazz piano trio format. Influenced by masters like Bill Evans, Herbie Hancock, Thelonious Monk and Cesar Camargo Mariano, among many others, he launched the album “Trio$” in 2016 and is now concluding his brand new album, “Marcos Nimrichter Trio - ao vivo no Municipal”.
