His debut –under the name of Weinf
– was Requiem for Myself
, which consists of 10 songs –recorded in his own bedroom with a borrowed computer– that were meant to be a farewell after being struck with the news that he had cancer.
Requiem for Myself
was followed by Purple Bird and Other Strange Songs
. Recorded in similar circumstances as its predecessor –he had a relapse in his illness–, the record talks about completely different issues: in it, there are short stories, reflections about God or the mother figure, and instrumental cuts.
