After Camp Mulla dissolved in 2013 she proceeded to release her debut album ‘Sun & Moon’.
She then proceeded to attend the prestigious Berklee College of Music. During that time she Majored in Electronic Music Production and Design, and joined a pop a cappella group named Kepoambe, while also making time to perform at festivals like Madaraka Festival in Seattle, and SXSW in Austin Texas and as part of the alternative electro-soul collective Cosmic Homies.
After re-entering the Kenyan music industry, Karun was recognised as one of Forbes Africa 30 Under 30 in 2019 and has been nominated for the Cafe Ngoma Awards 2020.
