An alternative-rock band born in 2001.
With the original line-up they publish their first album "Waiting for My Muse called Love" (2002); They arrive at the finals of 3 editions of Emergenza Festival. In 2004 they took part in the television program Myths of Music - Volkswagen conducted by Red Ronnie with two new tracks: "The Night I Have To See" and "My Drug". In 2006 they record some songs for what should have been their second album "Indaco | Yellow | Violet" (from which the unpublished song "Anything You Are" is extracted the same year and included in the 2K5 Everytime Gray compilation by Emergenza Italy). The album will never be released entirely due to the band's break-up.
Many years later, Matt selects 13 pieces for what will be a new album - "I Killed Someone". The singer composes, arranges and produces what was originally meant to be a solo album. "I killed Someone" (2016) is a "corrupt" record in every respect: its experimental and extremely electro-low-fi recording somehow represents the story told by the record.
In November 2019 iyvs in a new lineup begin recording a new record at LESDER STUDIO.
The result will be "Blacktar", a concept album that tells the bonds of addiction in all their forms, from drugs, to habits, to affections. Blacktar is a personal and musical renaissance album for iyv.
