"Star Rover, the Brooklyn twosome of guitarist Will Graefe and drummer Jeremy Gustin, specializes in an alluring sort of pastoral punk that suggests a collaboration between Deerhoof and John Fahey."- Time Out New York
Star Rover (Will Graefe and Jeremy Gustin) is as much an engine for collaboration as it is a band. Since forming in 2013 over a love of John Fahey’s music, the duo has recorded and toured with a long and wide ranging cast of musicians: Sam Amidon, Larkin Grimm, Benjamin Lazar Davis, Jesse Harris, Petra Haden, Tiago Iorc, Ricardo Dias Gomes (Caetano Veloso), and many others. They’ve toured in Asia, Europe, and South America, and played hundreds of shows in New York City, developing a repertoire of melodic-pyschedelic songs mixed with a rhythmically aggressive, telepathic improvisational language. Their sophomore album entitled "I May Be Lost But I'm Laughing" will come out October 2017 on 11A Records.
