Southern California natives, Honey and Jude are as engaging and charismatic as you might expect from their name! Some have said they are "so LA, it's silly!" One thing is sure: their unique sound, catchy songs, and enigmatic presence only serve to compliment the richness of their voices, making them the full package.
Produced by Andres Torres (Justin Bieber "Despacito") their first EP album, "Summer Fling: Don't Mean a Thing" (2015) put their playful side on full display. From the album's catchy pop anthem, "My Stupid Songs," to the soulful "I Need You," the album garnered much attention, paving the way for Music Connection Magazine to name Honey and Jude as one of the top 100 music acts of 2016.
2017 allowed Honey and Jude to put a new spin on a classic 80's romance with their throwback single, "The Real Thing," produced by Mark McKee (Rooney, Delta Rae).
“The Real Thing’ is a throwback, slow track, old school kind of love,” the duo explains. “It hearkens back to a day when asking a girl out on a date meant sneaking her a handwritten letter instead of a generic text, a day when going steady with a boy was about more than just updating your Facebook status to ‘In a relationship,’ and a time when how we felt about each other wasn't summarized in 140 characters or less."
2018 looks bright for Honey and Jude as they continue to grow and evolve. What's next? What ISN'T next?
