After growing up in Bavaria's idyllic Alps region Alloinyx got into music production after his move to Berlin and connecting to the local HipHop scene in the mid 2000s. From 2009 to 2011 he ran an art project named Alloinyx together with the Swiss painter and graphic designer Raphael Grischa Itten, combining visual art with Alloinyx's beats which became faster and increasingly electronic.
Since 2011 Alloinyx plays DJ-sets all over Germany and has been working together with well-established artists such as Berlin's Techno kings Pan-Pot, and German rapper Prinz Pi. He has released Songs on labels such as Universal Music, Le Club Records, OMGITM (Oh! My God It's Techno Music) and voxnox Records.
The trademark of Alloinyx's sound is the high quality production, a certain 'video game vibe' and a distinctive musical approach:
After creating drum loops and synthesizer sequences he often plays along and records his own live drums, percussion, electric guitar or bass.
You can also catch him sampling the City’s sounds out in Berlin's dirty streets with his field recorder or giving teenagers an understanding of the basics of beat making and recording at local youth clubs.
In his projects Alloinyx captures the nervous vibe of Berlin's nightlife and combines it with the 80's carefree nostalgia.
