Born and raised in California, Justin Boreta, or Boreta, is constantly challenging himself musically, technologically and creatively.
Boreta began performing solo shows in the underground west coast bass music scene, where he would be scheduled to play before or after his future bandmates. Eventually Boreta, Ooah, and edIT decided to form a partnership called The Glitch Mob. Since their establishment in 2006, the electronic live act has now performed around the world at festivals including: Coachella, Burning Man, Lollapalooza, Reading & Leeds and Lightning in a Bottle; they have also recently released their long-awaited third album, 'See Without Eyes'. Boreta also has several revolving side projects, including Nasty Ways (with EPROM), Slidecamp, Superposition, and most recently a techno/house duo, 29 Palms, with Glitch Mob partner Ooah. He also has produced many notable remixes; the most recent of which is Willits’ “Clear.”
