In the years that followed, fueled by a strict diet of farmers market fare and wedding hors d'oeuvres, the band made its way to Europe, where it criss-crossed the continent from Portugal to Turkey, Scotland to Ukraine, trading American folk music for whatever was cool.
And everything. was cool.
Back in Los Angeles, the street - namely the Hollywood Farmers' Market - became an unexpected booking office, leading the way to bars, concerts, weddings, tours, movies, Over the Garden Wall plus great deals on wild mushrooms, oysters, fresh bread and coffee.
All this to say, we miss the carefree days of gathering.
