Malika’s sound, teamed with an unmistakable and powerful vocal, reimagines 90’s
R&B in a modern, electronic-leaning soundscape, which has captivated both her peers and audiences far and wide.
Heavily influenced by artists from the 90s such as Brandy, Destiny’s Child and Mary J Blige, her killer vocals shone though in 2016 when she released her single 'Put It On Me.'
Receiving strong radio support from BBC Radio 1Xtra and Capital Xtra, with follow up singles 'Run' and 'I Live', Malika's Acoustic version of 'Run' was added to several Spotify playlists, including New Music Friday UK.
Not just a vocal power house, as a writer Malika's publishing deal with Ultra, has lead her to work behind the scenes with an array of artists including Rita Ora (Atlantic), Benny Benassi, Kokiri (Armada), Wretch 32 (Polydor) and Louis iii (Black Butter).
The release of her debut EP 'Songs About C', a COLORS Berlin session under her belt, and upcoming sessions with Redbull and Mahogany, Malika is here to make her mark, showing no signs of slowing down any time soon, and is definitely one to look out for in 2018.
