Matt Brown is a soul musician from West Palm Beach, FL. He has recorded at Echo Beach Studios, Bunker Road Studios, Legacy Studios and has been working at Drew Dockerill's (Manymoons) home studio in West Palm Beach most recently as 1/2 of Wavvyday.
He has also worked on Making Faces' 2 albums as a producer, bassist and vocalist, and has produced a number of tracks for Young Autha, and has been featured on a number of other artists' tracks. Being fluent in different instruments, he plays bass, piano and percussion and sometimes guitar on his tracks and at his performances. He has opened or shared the stage with Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio, Shaggy, The Original Wailers, Maxi Priest, Ballyhoo, Royce Lovett, Shevonne, JM & The Sweets, Allegra Miles, Hueston and many more. He has had the opportunity to play in other cities like Atlanta GA, Austin TX, New York NY and share the stage with artists like Montanera, Andrea von Kampen, Stereo RV, Parker McKay, Rick Moon and more. He is also a founder of the artist collective known as SoulFam and an ambassador and frequent artist for the Ft. Lauderdale & West Palm Beach chapters of Sofar Sounds, a global music community.
