Evening Sounds (2015) was recorded in Nashville after a period of living in Spain. The album reflects Jake's new found passion for the flamenco music he discovered during his time abroad and deals lyrically with his personal experiences there.
Water to Land (2018) shows a different side. The music is looser and rockier but still maintains and showcases his commitment to the lyric. The album was recorded in MOBA Studios with producer Sergio Molina shortly after Jake made the decision to return to Spain on a long-term basis.
Jake is based in Madrid and tours Europe frequently. In 2019, he published a bilingual edition [English/Spanish] of his collected lyrics through Lemon Street Press [Madrid]. His latest album 'Kalina & Other Modern Myths' is set for release on October 18th 2019.
